Albacete has a very active cultural lifewhere, in addition to the large scenic spaces, museums and cinemas including:

• The Provincial Archaeological Museum of Albacetelocated in the Abelardo Sánchez Park, contains an extensive archaeological collection of archaeological sites from all over the province, from the Palaeolithic to the late Middle Ages, as well as an important collection of the work of the Barajas painter Benjamín Palencia.
• The Museum of Cutlery of Albacetein the Plaza de la Catedral, located in the Casa de Hortelano, houses an extensive collection of traditional and renowned local cutlery, as well as temporary exhibitions on cutlery from all over the world. It is one of only three cutlery museums in Europe.
• The Circus Theatre is a scenic area in the Spanish city of Albacete, which has been declared an Bien de Interés Cultural with the status of a monument.It is currently the Teatro Circo with the dual function of oldest theatre and circus in the world.

• The Botanical Garden of Castilla-La Manchalocated in Avenida de La Mancha, opposite the Science and Technology Park of Castilla-La Mancha, is a 7 hectare living museum of the plant world, with more than 1500 species and 9000 plants.​

• The Municipal Museum of AlbaceteThe museum is located in the building occupied by the Albacete Town Hall until 1986 in the Plaza del Altozano. The current museum was inaugurated in 1995. It houses different temporary exhibitions, mainly of fine arts and exhibitions about the city.​

• The International Museum of World Folk ArtIt shares facilities with the Municipal Museum of Albacete. The permanent exhibition was donated by Juan Ramírez de Lucas to the city of Albacete in 1991, and is made up of more than 10,000 pieces acquired during his many travels throughout the five continents.

• The Interpretation and Awareness Centre for Peace is located in the Civil War air-raid shelters in the Plaza del Altozano. The centre has five corridors and 20 niches oriented to the exhibition and dynamic information of the peace action. At the entrance to the centre there is also a corridor for temporary exhibitions.
